the feeling of sadness with which i awoke today is indescribable. not just because this putz won and we lost the election. for so many more reasons. for myself. am hazy and heavy, now heading to a meeting when i should be in a thick coma for at least a week. looking for eye drops now. gotta run.

So sorry to hear this, Pam, after all the work and passion shown by you and team.. really sucks!.. my mind is not working well so i have no acute political analysis, but i do think people fear change and progress, but normally the municipal level is better than the national, so this doubly sucks. Good home remedy: apply two glasses of good red wine, watch shitty tv, reapply wine, then take hot bath with silly novel and candles, reapply wine, return to tv... the beuaty of this remedy is that it can be applied in a bar (minus silly tv/novel, plus silly chat).. i will help you if you want!!

I have been thinking about you all week. AHHHH I am screaming in my head about Alain's loss. Take some time to be pissed, and some time to pat yourself on the back for all your hard work as well as the others around you. The red wine/silly book and maybe 6 feet under? sounds really good too!
